New Delhi: Vijay Mallya was arrested on Tuesday by Scotland Yard on an extradition warrant by India. Vijay Mallya was later granted bail. Kannada channel CEO arrested for blackmailing businessman

Bengaluru: The CEO of a Kannada news channel has been arrested by the Bengaluru police last night on charges of blackmail. Laxmiprasad Vajapai, CEO of the news channel Janasri, allegedly demanded Rs. 15 crore from a businessman. San Bernardino: Gunfire erupted inside an elementary school classroom in San Bernardino, Calif., on Monday, leaving two adults and one student dead in what the authorities said was an apparent murder-suicide. Stockholm lorry rams crowds, killing at least three people

Stockholm: A lorry has smashed into a store in central Stockholm, killing at least three people, Swedish police say. Several people were also injured in the incident on Drottninggatan (Queen Street), one of the city's major pedestrian streets. Kerala declared drought-hit by the centre

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Government today declared eight States including Kerala as States reeling in drought. The other drought-hit seven States include Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
