New Delhi: Renault SA plans to introduce five new cars, including a small car, in India, the head of its local unit said Thursday.Marc Nassif, country general manager and managing director at Renault India, said the cars, including the Fluence sedan and Koleos sport-utility vehicle, will be introduced between mid-2011 and 2013.
"We are working on a small car. There's a huge effort being made and we might use a Nissan platform for our car," Nassif said on the sidelines of the annual conference of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.
