UK Parliament attacker identified as British national Khalid Masood

London: Police have named British national Khalid Masood as the man responsible for Wednesday’s double attacks on the Westminster Bridge and the UK Parliament which killed three people and injured dozens of others.
Police said 52-year-old Masood was born in Kent and over the years, has been convicted for a number of charges, including assaults, possession of offensive weapons and public order offences. Masood was known to police but had not been convicted for any terrorism offences.
Considered to be a peripheral figure, he was known by a number of aliases and had been living in the West Midlands recently.
